Per-user settings for shared budget books

Currently, the default account is set globally for the entire budget book. However, for shared budget books where each person has their own account (e.g. one per partner), each user should be able to set their own account as their default account.

Consolidated requirements

  • Store the default account separately for each participant in a shared budget book.

  • Also allow each participant to keep their own filters and transaction-entry presets, so one person’s choices do not overwrite another’s.

  • Keep the underlying shared transactions collaborative while separating these personal preferences.

    Separate User Settings for Shared Books

    I collaborate with my friend to manage our monthly expenses. Unfortunately it is not possible for each of us to set individual Filter and presets for transactions. That’s pretty inconvenient for daily use for one of us. One of us has to always change every setting manually every time when logging a new expense. That’s annoying. It would be great if the collaboration feature is not a copy of the profile of the owner. Instead it would be more convenient if everyone has there own profile and set their own individual settings
