Reconcile Status

I am suggesting to add reconciled status for every transaction. This can be to note that a transaction has been reconciled with the statement of account in case of credit cards.

Consolidated requirements

  • Provide transaction statuses: None (default), Cleared (appears on the bank statement), Reconciled (statement period fully checked), and Void (does not count toward balances).

  • Allow users to reconcile recorded transactions against their bank or credit-card statements.

  • Protect reconciled transactions against accidental edits, as requested in the existing discussion.

    Transaction status for reconciliation

    Hi team, great app! I'd love to see a Status field added to each transaction, with these options:

    • None (default)

    • Cleared: appears on my bank statement

    • Reconciled: statement period fully checked

    • Void: entry should not count toward balances

    This would make it much easier to match my records against my bank statement and catch missing or duplicate entries. Even a simple version would be a big help. Thank you!

    I would also like to go over my monthly bank statement with my listed transactions and have a way to reconcile them that locks that transaction to show that it cleared the bank so not to be accidentally edited and mess up my history.
