[4.0.0] Planned Transactions Not Reflected in iOS Widget
Hi,
I really like Budget Flow and especially the option to add planned/future transactions and have them reflected in the monthly budget.
However, I noticed that planned transactions are currently not taken into account in the iOS Home Screen widget. This means the available budget shown in the widget can differ from the available budget shown in the app.
Would it be possible to include planned transactions in the widget’s budget calculation as well, so that the available budget is consistent between the app and the widget?
Thanks for considering this!

Hi,
thanks for reporting this!
This actually looks like a bug. Planned/future transactions should not be included in the budget calculation yet. Only transactions that have already occurred should count toward the available budget.
So in this case, the widget is showing the intended value, while the calculation inside the app seems to be incorrect. I’ll take a look at this and fix the inconsistency.
Thanks again for bringing it to my attention! 😊
Best,

Hi :)
I also like the “end-budget” (with all the upcoming transactions this month subtracted) more than the current budget without them, because I can plan better without seeing the money, I am going to pay anyways. I second that it would be really nice to have a widget option to reflect the budget after paying all future transactions for the month.
