Notification automation doesn't create transactions while iPhone is locked
Hi,
I'm using the iOS 27 notification trigger with "Extract Transaction Info" and "Create Transaction" to log payments automatically.
The automation works fine when my iPhone is unlocked. When it's locked, the automation is triggered, but no transaction is created in Budget Flow.
Since payment notifications usually arrive while the phone is locked, this makes the automation unreliable in everyday use. It would be great if you could look into making the shortcut actions work on a locked device as well. I'd really appreciate it, as the feature is otherwise a huge time-saver.
Thanks a lot for your work on the app!

Hi @Kevin Nätzer,
Thank you for your feedback! Have you already disabled the “Show When Running” option in the “Create Transaction” action? The shortcut should normally also work while the iPhone is locked, but if this option is enabled, iOS may wait for the app interface to be displayed and the transaction might not be created automatically.
You can find more information about the recommended configuration here: Apple Pay Integration.
Best regards,
Fabian
