Credit Limit

There needs to have a credit limit field for users to input for credit accounts so that at a glance, users will be able to see how much the have left or used but as of now this needs to be manually calculated.

Consolidated requirements

  • Allow users to view the outstanding card balance, the available credit (credit limit minus outstanding balance), or both.

  • Allow an existing card’s credit limit to be changed without deleting and recreating the account. A credit limit is distinct from an opening account balance.

    Credit Card Balance

I have not found it, so I want to ask for something like this.

The balance I see on my CC is the one spent. Is there a way to see it the other way around? How much can I still spend?

    Example:

Spent 3000 pesos on a 9000 pesos card. It shows 3000. For me (at least) it would be better if it showed 6000. Or maybe 3000 (6000) or something like this

Also, an easy way to change CC limits. One of my banks decided to reduce it to protect me (according to their message) and I had to delete it and re-add it to fix it.

If you edit the account for the cc (… on the top right) there is an option under account balance that lets you set the initial amount you start with.

Would that work for you if you set it to 9000 pesos, rather than using the default option alone, which is just your expenses under total balance?

Adding onto this feature and to other credit card related suggestions…

The only thing missing for me in this app is credit card payment planning. I still have to use an excel spreadsheet to calculate my monthly CC payments because of the following missing features:

    • Interest rate: There is currently some functionality that calculates your CC payments with a billing period/payment date. However, I’d really like the app to have a small calculator that automatically predicts interest that will be generated from doing the minimum payment or partial payment of outstanding balance.

    • Monthly installments: In some countries paying in monthly interest free installments with credit cards is very popular. (American Express here amortizes all purchases above a certain threshold to pay over 3 months) These would need to be added in order to properly calculate credit card payments.

    • Custom billing periods and payment dates: In my country at least, credit cards sometimes have different billing periods and payment dates. Some have 30 day billing periods and your payment day is 20 natural days after, while others are after 15 natural days or 20 business days.

    • Available credit/credit usage: If I set all my cards’ credit limits, I’d like to have that information available on the dashboard at a glance to monitor my credit utilization.

In an ideal world, I should be able to input all my transactions into the app and it would tell me how much I need to pay (net any monthly installments) and calculate how much interest I would generate with any given partial payment. It should also remind me to pay them before their due date.

I’m already on a lifetime license but I would gift lifetime subscriptions to my friends and loved ones if these features were implemented! It would save me so much time every month.

Yes this is an essential feature please and I believe should be relatively straightforward to implement. Also I suggest that in the “balance” for credit card accounts, there should be an option to see either the outstanding balance (which is the current functionality), or the limit available (credit limit - outstanding balance).

i just started using the app this month, and i was confused too when setting it up. I wasn’t sure if i need to put the available balance or the outstanding balance. This feature would be great!
