Budget Flow💡 Feature Requests

Please add a way to budget in the usual concept. A budget in which I can add the planned income for the month, then break down that income through my categories until all the income is used (like income = expenses + savings), sort of Dave Ramsey every dollar app budget style, I’m really having a hard time understanding the budget concept as there is no way to budget income.

    Option to budget for income

    I would like the option to budget for income. This would allow for people to employ a different budget strategy, like the zero-based budget.

    Currently only able to budget for expenses, which is helpful, but adding a budget for income and netting against budgeted expenses would allow me to see if I net positive or negative over the month and when planning my budget, to only budget for an amount of expenses that can be covered by my income.

    Income budget

    It’d be nice if you add a feature where you can budget not only your expenses but your income too. I added my budget expenses, but every time I add an income transaction my total budget increases, even though it’s an income I had already planned, this would be solved with income budgets.

    I’m having a hard time with the way budgeting works in BudgetSync as well.

    I put a budget for $2800 for all my categories in 1 (63 categories) in a single monthly budget.

    It shows beautifully in the overview widget, but then shows me how much I left based on my total monthly income, NOT the amount I put in the budget.

    $2800 is my budget.

    I spent $1800

    Widget should tell me I have $1000 left.
